About the new SPECTER bolt group
In the new bolt group Specter, solutions and materials have been applied that allow the rifle to be more stable. All materials used in the construction are manufactured and supplied to the company in a single batch according to specified technical conditions in order to prevent possible inconsistency in mechanical properties. Quality control of incoming materials is carried out using destructive and non-destructive testing methods, with the help of ultrasonic and radioscopic equipment.
The use of high-strength stainless alloy steels made it possible to increase the service life of the bolt group, the smoothness of its operation, as well as to reduce wear on moving parts.
The bolt group is machined on hardened metal, which allows achieving precision and repeatability of part dimensions an order of magnitude higher than when machining raw material. This is significantly more complex and expensive, but only in this way does the group maintain its geometric parameters and accuracy within micron tolerances. It has excellent smooth operation and sufficient technical clearances, allowing it to function in the most demanding extreme conditions, including dusty and contaminated environments.
Components of complex configuration: the receiver, recoil lug, locking lugs, and BespokeGun trigger group parts are manufactured using electrical discharge machining.
The multiple safety margin and the quality of the bolt group's machining allow the use of high-power ammunition, as well as new high-energy calibers such as .33XC and others. The extraction port and magazine feed well allow the use of ammunition with a C.O.A.L. of 102 mm, as well as ammunition with promising high-BC bullets, including turned bullets of increased length.
The rifle remains operational even in various abnormal situations (excessive pressure, moisture entering the chamber, etc.).
A Picatinny rail made of high-strength alloy steel with a 30 MOA inclination angle, which provides the ability to use the full range of vertical adjustments of the optical sight and to use the rifle at distances up to 3 km.
