Rifle adjustment, 1000-1600 m

The athletes completed 10 exercises with shooting at small metal gongs.

The competition was attended by 38 shooters from 11 regions of Russia: Moscow, Moscow, Yaroslavl, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Penza, Smolensk, and Magadan regions, as well as Tatarstan, Karelia, and Kabardino-Balkaria.

One of the most interesting exercises, according to many match participants, was shooting at a target invisible from the shooter's position. In the 'Invisible' exercise, the athlete had to hit a 40 cm diameter gong placed at a distance of approximately 1,090 meters. By design, only the spotter could see the target. Despite such challenging conditions, 13 competition participants successfully completed the task.

At such competitions, athletes mainly use shooting systems in magnum calibers, however, there are also daredevils ready to challenge the distance with weapons in 6.5 mm caliber, which in the context of competitions with shooting beyond 1,000 meters athletes refer to as a 'small bullet'.

All athletes demonstrated a high level of professionalism in shooting, including from unstable positions.

With each competition, the skill level of shooters grows and competition intensifies. In 2025, at the matches in the discipline 'rifle-spotting, 1000-1600 m', the number of exercises will be increased, and each match will include exercises with additional complications – this is how Evgeny Solovyov, Chairman of the FSDD of the Moscow Region, outlined the prospects for the upcoming stages of the Moscow Region Cup.
