Bespoke Gun Concept
As we mentioned in our previous post, the BespokeGun concept is based on strict adherence to all the high standards applied to our products.
This approach is implemented through manufacturer accountability. Every stage of production undergoes technical inspection, recording, and documentation of parameters. Transparency and verifiability are a conscious principle for us, not a forced measure.
The observed behavior of the firearm in the emergency situation confirmed the validity of this approach: the design performed without posing any threat to the shooter, despite exposure to critical loads — all effects of the failure were controllably directed away from the shooter.
At the time of preparation of this document, the company has produced more than 2,000 rifles. The incident in question is the first and only case in which signs of partial structural failure of the firearm have been recorded.
We openly analyze complex cases, basing our conclusions on measurements, tests, and various inspection methods, including destructive ones. Transparency, reproducibility of results, and confirmed structural integrity are the core principles of our engineering philosophy.
In order to fully and objectively determine the causes of the failure a destructive inspection method was required ('longitudinal cross-section of the rifle') of the firearm's components, which made further use of the rifle impossible.
The company decided to replace the rifle for the owner free of charge, despite the absence of a design defect, based on a policy of maximum accountability to the customer.
Based on the principle of eliminating any doubt regarding possible malfunction of the system through engineering analysis, we conduct diagnostics of the rifle's performance and its individual components, without passing this burden on to the customer. We have nothing to hide — neither in terms of design nor manufacturing process.
