Example of a custom project: Specter Tactical .33XC, barrel parameters and load development. What in-house barrel manufacturing provides and how we document the results.
BespokeGun specializes in manufacturing high-precision firearms tailored to a wide range of applications.
We would like to thank the ideologist behind this project and the future owner of the rifle, Igor Zhukov. The specifications of the rifle were defined by him. It is always a pleasure to work with a professional who clearly understands what kind of rifle he wants and what it should deliver.
We are pleased to note that this is our own barrel. Thanks to our in-house barrel manufacturing, we now have no limitations in terms of caliber, barrel length, twist rate, barrel contour, and other key parameters.
The target shows the first shots fired from this rifle using domestic powder and zero-cycle brass. The bullet used was the Hornady A-Tip 300 gr.
Please note that this is a test of multiple powder charges with a step of TWO grains. The muzzle velocity ranged from 920 to 950 m/s.
We selected the 112-grain load as the most promising. During barrel break-in, the velocity is expected to increase further.
Further fine-tuning to improve accuracy and group consistency is left to the rifle’s owner.
The rifle has a significant safety margin built into it, and its performance is flawless.
P.S. At the time this video was recorded, 3 out of the 7 rifles we produced were already performing at the same level. The consistent performance of our products continues to impress.
