Viktor Bout and Russian snipers Masha and Sasha — on the conflict, the enemy, and the Russian president
Masha and Sasha came to the BespokeGun company from the SMO zone to get new rifles. The guys came to the front by different paths, both with combat experience, hardships, and losses behind them, yet they remained sincere, humane, and open.
Sasha is a career military officer from Moscow. He went to the SMO as a volunteer, as he himself admitted — following the call of his heart.
Masha is a native of the Donbas city of Debaltseve. In 2014, when war came to her doorstep, 19-year-old Masha went to serve in reconnaissance, became a sniper, and took part in combat operations. She then married the commander of a reconnaissance unit she had met behind the front line, gave birth to a son, and left service to dedicate herself to her family. But in 2019, everything changed: while carrying out a combat mission, Masha's husband was killed, and she made the decision to return to the front.
Today we are publishing part of the conversation between Sasha and Masha with Viktor Bout, who made a full interview film with them.
